I think the launch of this blog comes at interesting time for not only the change management community but also Changefirst as a company. If we step back 7 or 8 years you will recall much was said about the business potential of the internet and how it would revolutionize the way we lived our lives – from both a personal and a business standpoint. Much of the early hype did not materialize but the last 2 or 3 years has seen a seismic shift in terms of the ways that businesses in particular use the internet to support key business processes from building customer relationships, ecommerce and product support.
The business of change management is no different. And the potential of the internet for our sector is unquestionable. At Changefirst we are in the process of evolving and refining our approach from the bottom up. At the heart of our strategy is online – building communities of interest, providing effective change applications online and integrating learning and support that allows our customers to manage change at a time and pace that suits their own individual needs.
We plan to use the blog to document our experiences, but we would also invite you to share your change management experiences with us and the wider Changefirst community.
If you’d like to contribute, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
