To be effective in delivery, Project Managers need to be able to easily align Change Management activities with their projects. However they increasingly tell us that adoption and support for change on projects is an issue and there is a clear gap in terms of functional support for Change Management on their projects. They also worry about how they are positioned with leaders and their teams, what their focus and expectation should be during major Organisational Change, how to navigate tricky people challenges with limited power over those affected, and whether they really have the time and resource to make good Change Managers.

Our digital Change Management tools help provide practical ‘know-how’ and resources that are aligned with their Project Management processes.

Effective project managers are likely to be invested in understanding the needs of people and stakeholders during major Change. And our Change Agent Assessment, which is available in our digital toolkit can help you assess the suitability of candidates for the role.

The strength of Project Management lies in the organisation of projects for delivery,  rigorous scheduling, and adherence to budget. Change Management however, brings
structure and process to what is a messy people-based contact sport, that deals with people’s fears and required mindsets, but that also adds realism to project planning timelines and resourcing.

Typically Project Managers are managing projects simultaneously, so we focus on helping them succeed with skills and tools aligned with their existing processes. This includes step-by-step guides to aligned Change Management, as well as clarity around people, steps and actions for planning and deployment to improve the likelihood of Project and Change success.
